The Italian luxury jewelery brand Bvlgari held a magnificent event in Milan for the promotion of its “Magnifica” High Jewelry collection on 3-4 June. Serenay Sarıkaya took part in the event, where names such as Chiara Ferragni, Ester Exposito, and Jaime Lorente Lopez were specially hosted and enchanted us with her grace. Realizing successful projects on a global scale, the brand released a video in which the collection was introduced yesterday, right after the event. Andrea Bocelli’s magnificent voice accompanies the background of the video, which brings together names such as Vittoria Ceretti, Lily Aldridge, Solange Smith and Blesnya Minher. In the movie where Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II, one of the most iconic spots in Italy, is turned into a fashion show area, jewelery with unique craftsmanship plays the lead role. Located in the heart of Italy with its glass vaulted roof and mosaic floor, Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II was born in 1865 and embodies the charm and elegance of Belle Époque.

The 122 jewelery designs, which have not come to light before, are a tribute to the efforts of Italian craftsmen, who are proud of their craftsmanship! The collection bears traces of the texture of Rome and the historical infrastructure of the city. Eye-catching minimal details and delicately arranged precious stones reveal the expertise of Italian craftsmanship. Bvlgari’s 350-piece selection is a candidate to be included in the list of masterpieces.

Lucia Silvestri, the jewelery designer of the brand, expressed the details of the collection with the following words: “Last year, Italy was the first among the countries affected by the pandemic. We have experienced days when we forgot what it means to be happy and drowned in sadness. In this process, we forgot to stay joyful and enjoy life. Colors are the best way to create joy in our opinion! The energy of a color, the feeling and beauty it evokes are good for people and heal them. Based on this purpose, we wanted to create a timeless collection. The difference of this time jewelery from others is that it is equipped with the most precious stones!”

The muse of the Magnifica collection is the brave and fearless women who mean the name of magnificence in Ancient and Recent history in Rome! In addition, two important names were influenced to put the existing idea into reality. One of them is Artemisia Gentileschi, a painter of the 16th century. Lucia Silvestri says that the artist is a master at creating traditional works with a unique design pen. The other name is the immortal architect Zaha Hadid. Collaborating with the brand for a special edition in 2016, the famous architect made B.zero1 an impressive design icon. Combining Hadid’s pioneering architectural style with jewellery, inspiration and innovation gained a new meaning. Lucia Silvestri says of Hadid: “I am so lucky to have had the chance to know him, it was an honor to create a collection with him!”
