The Sportmax Pre-Fall 2021 collection takes us on a journey in time to four global cities from 1920 to the present, as well as New York, Paris, Berlin and Shanghai. An homage to an era that embodies rebirth and enthusiasm, the collection reflects the still resounding textures of all the distinctive artistic and cultural influences associated with the ‘Roaring Twenties’.

Inspired by the carefree sensuality emanating from the revolutionary and emancipated women of the time, this collection brings a contemporary reinterpretation to designs. This exuberant and casual collection is a tribute to the icons of the era: glamorous and exotic like Josephine Baker, androgynous like Claude Cahun and creative as Sonia Delaunay. New Sportmax references emerging from the Jazz Age highlight the joy of Charleston, the vibrancy of colors and prints between East and West.

While the coats placed under the spotlights add different perspectives to the masculine appearance of the fabrics, double-breasted jackets with gold buttons and voluminous faux furs add movement to the collection. Having an important role in the collection, velvets add a soft texture to body-hugging dresses, knitwear, maxi shirts and trousers. We can say that velvet effect denim trench coats are one of the must-see pieces of the collection!

On the other hand, leather wrapping the curves of the body and thin strappy dresses create an attractive appearance, while knitted-looking pieces designed with transparent textures echo the subtleties of Art Deco patterns. Solid and sharp, the color selection ranges from mustard to red, green to blue and purple to yellow and burgundy. Wild patterns on jackets, boots, platform sandals and vests take the attractive theme of the collection to the next level.

Born of lightness, long lines and elegance that embraces androgyny and never ceases to radiate determination, the designers reflect a truly enchanting mood.
